Colene Clemens Vineyards: Oregon Pinot Noir & Estate Wines

A review of the tasting room at Colene Clemens Vineyard for Weekend Wine Reviews #320.

People in Oregon are fortunate to enjoy stunning landscapes, picturesque vineyards, and outstanding wines. While staying overnight in McMinnville, we asked some friendly locals for winery recommendations. Nearly everyone suggested Colene Clemens Vineyards. Following their advice led us along a long, winding road up to the vineyard—well worth the drive. Once we reached the top, the view was so captivating we took many photos before heading inside the tasting room.

What a tasting room it was. It had everything you want for a relaxed wine tasting: a roaring fire, comfortable seating, expansive windows framing gorgeous views, and a welcoming server. The atmosphere matched the quality of the wines perfectly. Every wine we tasted was excellent, and we enjoyed them so much that we decided to ship bottles home. We typically ship an entire case from a trip, so choosing two bottles from a single winery says a lot. We shipped the 2013 Adriane Pinot Noir and the 2013 Margo Pinot Noir.

The combination of wonderful wine, a warm and inviting tasting room, and breathtaking views made the visit memorable. If you find yourself in McMinnville, Colene Clemens Vineyards is a recommendation worth following.
