On my SLC breakfast tour I’m prioritizing mostly newer places, but there are a few spots I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. I picked up a breakfast burrito there today and knew it had to be included.

What keeps me coming back to Beaumont is convenience and quality. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch Front—hiking, skiing, or biking—Beaumont is an excellent spot to fuel up before you head into the mountains. I often grab a breakfast burrito before a big ski day; the drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing flavor or freshness. I’ve had drive-through burritos from many Mexican joints, and while they can be tasty, they often feel overly greasy, which isn’t ideal if you’re about to be active.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito stacks simple, fresh ingredients: eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche-style dressing that pulls the whole bite together. A great sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and Beaumont gets it right.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont serves more than just a solid burrito. They offer excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and standout items like a burrata salad that’s become a favorite for many. Beaufort’s mix of quick options and sit-down appeal makes it versatile: you can swing through the drive-through for a fast grab or linger on the patio when you have time.
A small note on timing—popular, quality food attracts crowds, and Beaumont is often busy on weekends. If you only need coffee and pastries, it’s easy to run in or use the drive-through. If you plan to sit and enjoy the space, expect a short wait during peak times. The patio and thoughtfully designed interior make the wait worthwhile.
If you’re heading up the canyon or exploring the valley, Beaumont is a dependable stop for fresh, flavorful breakfast and coffee. It’s a convenient, high-quality option for anyone who likes to fuel up before an outdoor adventure.
