Ingredients
  • 10 to 12 large mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. Use a small spoon to hollow out the caps slightly to make room for filling.
  4. Arrange the mushroom caps in a baking dish or skillet, gill side up.
  5. Top each mushroom with about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce, 1 tablespoon mozzarella, and 2–3 mini pepperoni slices.
  6. Sprinkle each with a pinch of Italian seasoning or oregano.
  7. Bake 18–20 minutes, until mushrooms are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
