The Meal
Here’s the featured keto meal idea described from my original social post. Keep reading for full details and nutrition.
Featured plate: broccoli, shredded cheddar, and a serving of maple Dijon chicken thighs, plus a sparkling flavored water. Total net carbs: 4.6g.
This combination is fast to assemble: steam or microwave two cups of frozen broccoli, top with a quarter cup of shredded cheddar so it melts slightly, and serve alongside a prepared portion of maple Dijon chicken thighs. A sparkling carbonated water (grapefruit or other flavor) makes a refreshing, zero-carb beverage to complete the meal.
Foods Included
Note: I list the specific brands I used for accuracy. When a recipe is included, I reference the recipe name so you can reproduce the same flavors at home.
- 2 cups frozen broccoli (brand used in test: Meijer)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (brand used: Kroger)
